About

Our Head of School

Welcome to Miss Edgar’s and Miss Cramp’s School, where each girl is celebrated for her unique spirit while contributing to the rich tapestry of our community.

As Head of School, I am thrilled to share our vision: to cultivate an environment where every student has the space, support, and encouragement to reach her full potential. At ECS, education transcends academics. We nurture intellectual curiosity, creativity, and character.

Our dedicated faculty and staff not only foster academic excellence but also support emotional and social growth, offering each student the personalized guidance she needs to thrive. We are committed to supporting each girl’s unique strengths and aspirations. From our innovative curriculum to vast co-curriculars, she has boundless opportunities to explore and grow. As we journey together, we ensure our students become the extraordinary individuals they are destined to be. Here, throughout their most formative years, they build lasting friendships, develop leadership skills, and learn the value of collaboration and empathy.

I invite you to explore ECS’ tight-knit community and the exciting opportunities awaiting your daughter. During her educational journey, she will find her voice, embrace challenges, and contribute to a future filled with promise. It's not just about what she will achieve, but who she will become.

Warm regards,
Margaret Dorrance
