Why Choose ECS?

At ECS, girls and young women are immersed in a brave space where they are inspired and challenged to reach their full potential.

We offer more than an exceptional education. Staying true to our founding spirit, ECS provides limitless learning opportunities in a dynamic and supportive environment. We nurture whole-girl development, empowering each student to explore her passions while gaining the proficiencies to thrive as an engaged global citizen and accomplished professional. Our mission is our promise to you—here’s how we deliver it!

Grade Level Overview

Junior School: K to Grade 6

In Junior School, our teachers engage our students in a warm, welcoming, and innovative environment. Through the various subjects - languages, mathematics, science, and the arts - our students learn that the possibilities are as endless as their curiosity. Our assessment practices allow them to take ownership of their learning and become increasingly aware of the process of learning rather than just the result.

We offer an early French Immersion programme in Cycle One that transitions into a Bilingual Programme for Cycles Two and Three, designed to promote students’ overall development and instill a love of language and learning from the start of their educational journey. We value whole-girl wellness and strive to create a supportive environment where all students have access to opportunities to thrive, grow, and reach their full potential.

Middle School: Grades 7 & 8

Middle School is a formative transitional period between elementary and high school. Our team puts each girl at the centre of her learning, and supports her throughout her academic and psychosocial development.

We offer a bilingual programme that instills a love of language as they progress along their educational path. Our three distinctive class levels in English, French and Math suit the individual needs of each student. Dedicated faculty members follow her progress, ensuring academic and personal growth.

Senior School: Grades 9 to 11

Senior School is where ECS students begin to come into their own as self-actualized adolescents. These are the cumulative years of their education as they begin to make decisions for their future.

Our faculty is dedicated to preparing students for their future endeavours by honing their critical thinking, analytical abilities, and time-management skills. From Grade 9 to Grade 11, students build on foundational knowledge in increasingly sophisticated ways, through a challenging curriculum enhanced with practical experiences.
